“A3 is an athletic program that puts the safety of a young athlete before performance,” shares Dave Vincent, co-owner of Active. With a degree in Health and Fitness, C.S.C.S. certification, and over 10 years as a sports and fitness trainer as well as Fitness, Health, and Wellness Consultant at the World Bank, Dave understands the intricacies of designing programs to maximize an athlete’s potential. As a father, Dave also understands parents’ concerns that their children may be pressing, training incorrectly, and setting themselves up potentially for severe injury…this is where A3 comes in.

A3 is a sports performance program for athletes who want to take themselves to a higher level in their perspective sports. Dave looks at each athlete’s age, gender, sport, and position to know how to best help him or her prepare for the upcoming season. Exercises tend to start with strengthening the core, stabilizing the body through balance training, and working on joint integrity as well as increasing speed, strength, agility, and endurance.
